As i'm registered at alot of websites and games, i was looking for an piece of software that makes and database of all my passwords, so i dont have to go through the "i've lost my password" forms all the time. Now i know there are some appllications that offer this function, but i've found only one so far: Password Safe

So my question: is there someone who uses such software, and which one is the best?

Hi Stofzuiger,

Personally I just use Firefox's password manager, but you'll find some good info in the links below.

I use a USB Flash 'pen drive' to store my logins and passwords. As well as some other programs.
I can take it to any computer and work on.

(I'm old hat at home and still keep a listing on 3x5 cards as the ultimate backup.)
The only easy day was yesterday.

...some do, some don't; some will, some won't (WR)

Ah ye my "acer software" offers quite the same option: it can create and "protected with password" drive and store them there (i can enable it with a sort of switch at the "acer framework widget" on my screen)

but the problem is that these files arent encrypted, and therefor not good enough protected, guess thats the same problem you have?.

An solution might be to install such applications on the actual USB 'pen drive' as portable software.

Oh and thanks for the replies :D
