Thanks for getting back to me. I'm basically having most of my google links hijacked. When I scan with avg or spybot etc different trojans are picked up. I've updated my Java and ran various programs to try and eliminate the problem including combofix, adaware, spybot s&d, Malwarebytes antimalware, but I'm still being hijacked. Here is the content of my dds scan

Please download GooredFix and save it to your Desktop. Double-click Goored.exe to run it. Select 1. Find Goored (no fix) by typing 1 and pressing Enter. A log will open, please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called GooredLog.txt). Note: Do not run Option #2 yet.

QUOTE Sorry Finland didn't win the euro song/dance contest! That's ok. I'm more used to see this kind of results than the one with Lordi winning a few years ago Please double-click GooredFix.exe on your Desktop to run it. Select 2. Fix Goored by typing 2 and pressing Enter. Make sure all instances of Firefox are closed at this point. Type y at the prompt and press Enter again. A log will open, please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called GooredLog.txt). Post also a fresh dds.txt log. -------------------- Microsoft MVP Consumer Security 2008 2009

Seems to be running well - no hijacks. I'm just scanning with avg and that's warning me about tracking cookies from revscii and eiroclick. I've been deleting these for past couple of weeks. Do they suggest a problem to you? I'll clean out my temp files and reboot when the scan finishes and see if they reappear.
cheers Dave |
