BleepingComputer.com: Font size issue?

Im not sure how it happened, but some programs look 'fatter' than usual.

Umh. I don't see a program fat or skinny. Youl will have to put forth your problem more clearly. Then maybe someone
will be able and willing to help you.

It appears as if your basic Windows fonts have been deleted by some program or accident.

If you have another computer running Windows XP, you can copy basic fonts from c:\windows\fonts to your computer in the same folder.

The DPI Setting for your display may be set too high. The DPI Setting on this computer for "Normal size" is 96DPI. A DPI value that is too high can cause the kind of display distortion/cropping in dialog boxes that you are seeing.

You can adjust the DPI setting at: Start, Control Panel, Display, Settings (tab), Advanced (button), General (tab), DPI Setting: (dropdown list). Make the appropriate change, then click the Apply button and OK your way out.

I copy pasted the font files into this computers, and I checked my DPI (its 96) and the thing still looks weird. Its not just that program either - it also looks messed up on ventrilo.
