Hi, whenever I try to download a pdf file from the net, nothing happens, I just get a blank white window with the word 'Done' at bottom left.
There's no download progress bar or 'working' icon or anything.
Am I just supposed to sit and wait twiddling my thumbs hoping it's downloading behind the scenes or what?
How long should I wait?
I'm XP Home
Thanks

If you are using Adobe reader try uninstalling and re-installing the application.

If you would like to try a very nice PDF reader other than Adobe go here: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/

It is less than 4 Mb in size compared to Adobe which is a huge download. I use Foxit in Win Vista-XP Pro and Win Xp Home editions without any problems whatsoever.

Try it ; you'll like it

Oh! I forgot to say it is a free application!

I'm always wary of saying "problem solved" in case it hiccups again further down the line.
At the moment therefore i can only say "it seems to be fixed"..
