BleepingComputer.com: NMIndexStoreSvr.exe Aplication Error

Hi everyone,

I isntalled Nero 8 and all of the sudden this message appeared on my screen when I re-booted the system.

NMIndexStoreSvr.exe
Aplication error.

The instruction at "0x004c463c" referenced memory at "0x006f006c". The moemory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

What gives, is this a windows problem?

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help, I was able to use some of the advice in File.net and it worked so well. It turns out that it was Nero Scout that was doing it so I just simply disabled it. I don't use it that much anyways. Plus it makes the computer run slower. Thanks again.

Hey, I was able to disable that pesky Nero Scout and now I don't have that error anymore.

Well there it is again. The error has returned only this time it says the following;

NMIndexStoreSvr.exe
Aplication error.

The instruction at "0x000c000c" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The moemory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

or something. What could it be this time around. Everything was fine when I disabled that pesky Nero Scout, then it came bacl again. The error. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
