Hello, Sorry I haven't been paying a lot of attention to you all Back here at Bleeping Computer,

Where I was orphaned after life deserted me.

But I have had the various ordeals, trials and Hassels, not to mention the Counterfeit Printing, Seemingly Socialist, Fascist, depending on which way you want to look at it, Government, depressing me to the point of no return.

However, I'm still here stumbling bumping, being shoved and pushed, and hitting the same holes and ruts in the road of life.

But you back here at BC, have you changed ? It seems so, like what happened to Grinler's List of Anti-malware and anti-virus scanners and catchers ?

Are you going to tell me that in the last century we use to operate and in this century we have a better way, that the old way is out and the new way is in.

We don't do Lobotomies anymore ?

Well it seems that it certainly has changed, it use to recommend,
AdAware and SpyBot etc.

That may be the case you are at the site you are directing me to, but it seems to have changed from the site previous to like here;

Do you have popups or other malware infecting your computer? If so, Start Here!

OK it just seemed I did not arrive from the above BC page link to the one you directed, Thanks,
for the info, I'll be sure to check it all out.

But now that I am thinking of it, yeah, the page used to do the stuff to prepare you for doing a HJT Log and Post, etc. < where did that go ?

I don't believe it has moved in a long time, Jove.

In the " Security > HijackThis Logs and Virus/Trojan/Spyware/Malware Removal" section of the board, it is one of the "pinned" topics and there is also a link to it in that Forums Guideline section.

Clever of the board Admins to "hide" it there, huh?

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

Hello Jove, I think I can see your issue. In reality you are still going to the same page,
From the Home page
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/

You are clicking the second item.. Do you have popups, spyware, or other malware infecting your computer? If so, Start Here!

clicking Start Here brings you to the HJT prep guide as mentioned
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html

What has happened is the procedure has changed, The new malwares require some new tools. Also some of the older tools are just NOT detecting enough.
So you are going to the same place and following a new ,improved procedure. It is better for detection, analysis and the safety of your data.

Hope I've settled that for you Jove.
