Hi folks!

I have a message that wants to upload Java 6 Update 13.
Is it safe to do so? Do I need to do this and if I do this will it change my safety settings? Seems to me I unchecked some box (es)
so that people could not do stuff to my computer using java?

Thanks.

I'm all updated on malware, so I'm not concerned it's this, but just was wondering about whether this is something I should do to keep my computer current and up to date?

It can't hurt. I upgraded a couple of weeks ago. Just be sure Java gets rid of the old version which I believe they are now doing. They didn't use to.

Its important to keep your java up to date, since older versions can have vulnerabilities.
