trying to get ssl working on my server. i have it so when i type in https://mydomain.com it goes to my website, but first it pops up a message saying that the certificate is not valid and warns me that the site is dangerous, how do i fix this?

Once i click "continue to site (not recommended)" it goes to my site perfectly fine. I just want to get the certificate right. I'm using XAMPP with apache 2

why is it after hours of searching, i post a topic, and THEN find the answer??

EDIT: Just read that it will still bring up a warning as the certificate is self assigned. Any Idea's?

Unless you pay for a 'certified' certificate, that is the best that you can do.
