Hello
A simple query for you experts I am sure. I used to get a box near the top of the whole screen and I could click the right hand side of it and see a list of the websites I last visited. It saved having to look things up afresh. It seems to have disappeared and I don't know what I have done or how to get it back. This isn't explained very well but I hope someone can understand what I mean.
Thanks in advance.

Press the F11 key, see if it comes back.
If that doesn't work, if you have the bar with a star, house icon, etc. click on Tools in that bar.
Choose Full Screen.
Hopefully one of these solutions will help you.
As an alternative, you could reboot your computer.
I've had the same thing happen to me in the past, back in my new-to-computer days.
A reboot solved the issue.

Some pop-ups can cause to hide the address bar temporarily but only in the popup window.
