I am using IE8 and very often when I use explorer a message appears saying ''Windows Explorer has stopped wotking'' followed by ''Windows is checking for a solution to the problem'' eventually it goes on to say ''Windows Explorer is restarting''
The bottom line is, as long as this happens I am unable to use explorer. H/ever if I restart my PC, I am able to use explorer, but at a later stage the same thiing reoccurs which as you can imagine is very frustrating.
Can anyone suggest what might possibly be causing this problem. Any further information required will be glad to proviide to best of my ability.
Thanks

Hi
Tks your response. to be frank I am not sure exactly what I was doing at the times these occurrences happen. Suffice it to say that today according to my event viewer / windows logs / applications does not show any errors referring to Windows Explorer. H/ever I am sending a copy of 2 instances which occurred yesterday. Hopefully it might help you in diagnosing what might be causing this error. Pls bear in mind that there are several such instances which apart from a few differences are very similar and there are too many to be sending all at once as this has been happening for quite a while back.
