Hey guys. I've been looking for awhile now for a program that will sort of force a homepage on a user on a network. It's like the pages you see when you first get on a network at a hotel or something. I know it doesn't alter the homepage but I'm not sure how else to word it, that might be why I'm having such a hard time finding it. Anyways has anyone ever heard of something like that?

You may be thinking of Kiosk Mode in Internet Explorer.

Well not exactly. I probably didn't explain it good enough. Basically I have a network, and anytime someone gets on to this network and starts up IE or firefox or some other browser, I want them to be directed to a page of my choosing. Maybe the page would be some sort of disclaimer or just some general info about my business. This is used a lot in hotels. When you get on to their public wireless network you are usually greeted with a web page of their choosing when you open up your browser. Hopefully that clears it up a bit.

I'm just guessing here but I think it is probably done through some program running on a dhcp server. It gives out an ip address and forces them to see a certain web page when they first get on and then after that they can go about their normal internet viewing.
