Excel 2002 print preview

How do I " Print Preview" in Excel 2002, without a printer being installed/connected to my computer.
Please guide.

Are you certain you need to have a printer attached to use the preview function?

Old 97 excel did actually insist on existence of a printer, it didn't care what, so long as something was acknowledged. 2003 does not, so perhaps 2002 doesn't either.

So why not just install a printer?
Control Panel>Printers & Faxes>Add a Printer (turn off detect plug & play)>Local>follow the prompts. Just pick the most common printer you can see from the list - e.g. Epson or Canon, choose a model and install it. You may be asked for the windows CD. Then OK to finish.
Now you have a printer installed - it doesn't have to physically exist!
