ms updates and antivirus updates not working

my windows updates and my antivirus updates are not working.....

i also checked my proxy settings in internet options......

my latop is dell studio xps 16 and vista home premium sp1

my antivirus is bitdefender internet security 2009

plz help me

That is a symptom of conficker. Try scanning with the microsoft malicious software removal tool. It will check if you have it and remove it. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
