Keyboard is locking

Greetings all,

Running Vista Ultimate:

Added a KVM USB DVI switch yesterday to run 2 pcs:

At the moment after PC comes out of sleep or screen saver the key boad fails to respond yet the mouse is ok, any ideas please as the only way I can get the keyboard to respond is to restart the PC.

UPDATE:

This morning had to take out the KVM switch as it kept switching on/off uncontrollably ..Faulty Switch? looks like this can be closed. :huh:
