Do you need two PCI-E x16 slots for ATI crossfire, or is it enough to have one PCI-E x16 and one PCI-E?

As far as I know you need 2 PCI-E video card slots.

I don't know where you would get a crossfire PCI card.

You need X16 length slots to physically fit the card. I don't believe you need full x16 speed to use crossfire. On older boards the second x16 slot is wired for 8x.

All Crossfire capable cards are PCI-Ex16. There are PCI-Ex1 cards, but they don't do Crossfire. Depending on your motherboard chipset and graphics card, you may be able to use Hybrid Crossfire.
