Hi,

I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad T61 running Windows XP pro SP3. All my windows updates are up to date, and I have Kaspersky antivirus & firewall protecting my system (though I used to have McAfee)

I get a BSOD every time I browse to my documents when using either an ftp program or adobe bridge. I've searched many forums to find the answer and I can't find the specific problem. I wonder if it's some sort of memory/cache problem but I don't know and even if it is I don't know how to fix it.

The error I got last time is:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
stop: 0x0A (0x55000930, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x804E4232)

The message it gives me says: Disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing, etc

The previous time I got an error it started with 0x00000007E, that was before I prevented the auto restart so I didn't catch the entire number.

I can't think of any particular devices or software I have installed recently, though I use several devices (which all work fine) and install software on my machine fairly regularly.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks very much in advance for any help.

As no logs have been posted and this does not appear at this time to be a malware related issue, I am shifting this topic from the specialized HiJack This forum to the Windows XP forum.

PLEASE DO NOT NOW POST LOGS unless a log is specifically requested.
