Our HP Pavilion laptop suddenly has developed a problem. After starting and logging on (30-60 seconds), it suddenly restarts and gives you the option of restarting in either normal or safe mode. An error window appears stating that 'Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown'. The problem is listed as BlueScreen. Is this from an SP1 install? Automatic updates are turned on. The laptop now has no networking or sound. When checking the installed devices there are none listed.
