help with installing photoshop!

I install adobe photoshop cs4 (it's also the same with cs3 though) and then once all the installing and everything is done this happens:

I've tried reinstalling 3 times! What should I do?? I don't even know why it isn't working.

Do you have the original CD for both of those CS's?

Both K-Pock and Ranger72 gave some excellent feedback. If you hit the first result in ranger72's google hit you will see an excellent post from Bart Cross.

You will find that alot is down to memory space etc that cause this type of error and is definatley machne specific as I have encountered this before on CS4.
You must clear out anything adobe cs3/cs4 related before you attempt a re-install, especially in the program files folder. Be careful not to remove any shared components (which should be in the common / shared folders anyway) or any other adobe programs in the process.

These scripts should empty everything out as required. Which would be the safest option than a manual delete. Make sure you have winzip (or zip compatible os) as the files are um... zipped lol! And make sure you virus scan them too, they are from a trusted source (adobe direct) but best be safe than sorry!

Read up on that post it may just be what you need.

A good old Quick Google search gave me a support article for Microsoft support
I think it might be user permissions. I would try to login as the admin and see if it works for you.

Another thing that you might want to try is contacting the adobe support as they would know this problem as they deal with it everyday.
