Both K-Pock and Ranger72 gave some excellent feedback. If you hit the first result in ranger72's google hit you will see an excellent post from Bart Cross.
incase the results change its http://forums.adobe.com/thread/373577 You will find that alot is down to memory space etc that cause this type of error and is definatley machne specific as I have encountered this before on CS4. You must clear out anything adobe cs3/cs4 related before you attempt a re-install, especially in the program files folder. Be careful not to remove any shared components (which should be in the common / shared folders anyway) or any other adobe programs in the process. this may be of interest to you: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html These scripts should empty everything out as required. Which would be the safest option than a manual delete. Make sure you have winzip (or zip compatible os) as the files are um... zipped lol! And make sure you virus scan them too, they are from a trusted source (adobe direct) but best be safe than sorry! Read up on that post it may just be what you need. Hoe this helps! High500 |

A good old Quick Google search gave me a support article for Microsoft support
I think it might be user permissions. I would try to login as the admin and see if it works for you.
