more than video problem

I went thru this before but i have wasted about enough time on it but...the kid took a vaccum to the dust inside computer and now no video ... Turns on ok but then no video and will not restart with the restart button or turn off with the "on" button... You have to reach around and shut down from back switch... "AMD64 Athlonx2" ....Is there something i could try or forget it..

While there is the possibility there could have been some damage by static electricity from the vacuum cleaner, I would check for loose wires and connections and reseat all of you cards and memory

What kind of motherboard do you have? or What is the make and model of it?

i don't know how to tell but it says on front sticker "E VEXOR" On the board it says----Sticker-K9N6SGM-V....stamped on board it says MS-7309 VER:1.0

did you check all the capacitors to make sure they wernt bulging, or loose? (or none missing?)

It appears to be an MSI board Are you using the on board video (on the motheboard) or are you using a PCI-E video card (expansion card). You can tell by the position of the VGA connector if it is near your USB ports its the on board variety.
