IE wont open web pages Connected to wireless fine, but no web pages

When I bring up IE 7, it will say that it cant display the web page, or when I manually type in a web address it will say that the address is invalid. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the 2wire wireless adapter, and reset all values/defaults (and cleared cookies, ect.) in IE 7. Furthermore, I noticed there was a bunch of anti-virus on this computer, and I have removed them all in hopes to just install AVG. I burned a CD with the latest version and transferred it but when trying to install, it gave the following error:
Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows: creating registry key....
Error 0x80070005
At this point, I was thinking maleware but after going through steps in the "Am I infected" forum, they determined that maleware was not an issue. Afterwards, I ran "WinSock XP Fix" to reset winsock settings, but nothing still. Please help :-)

Are you using DHCP or are your TCP/IP settings statically assigned?
Can you go into your tcp properties of your network adapter and let me know what the DNS servers are set to?

ipconfig /flushdns
Could you please run ipconfig /all then right click anywhere in cmd window and select "select all" then Ctrl+C to copy
Then Ctr+V(Paste) here
Cheers

Thanks for the reply :-)
Im not sure how to check if Im DHCP, but in the ipconfig /all command it says "yes"... when I go into TCP/IP settings they appear to be Dynamic. Both dots are next to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain an DNS server automatically". There is nothing in the fields next to the options since they are not selected. And under the "Alternate Configuration" tab, "Automatic private IP address" is selected instead of the only other option, "User configured".
In addition, I had already tried to flush DNS, but nothing. But just in case, here is the data from the ipconfig /all command:

If your internet works then we know its a DNS issue.

Open Internet Explorer. When it is open click on Tools and then Internet Options. Then click on the Connections tab and then press the Lan Settings button. Do you have it set to use a proxy server?

...also, I thought it could just be IE (since I hate it anyways lol), so I installed Firefox as well, but still no luck.

Do me a favor and assign these domain servers to your tcp/ip settings:
208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.
Then reboot after doing so. See if it works and also give me another copy and paste from the ipconfig /all command.
Thanks
