BleepingComputer.com: HP Deskjet Printer Maintenance Tip Popups!

In the last couple of days, I've been getting these HP Deskjet 6940 Printer Maintenance Tip popups all the time! If I type a letter in Word, I get a popup. If I visit a website, I get a popup. If I finish burning a CD I get a popup. It's driving me crazy! How do I get them to stop?

It's basically a square in the middle of the screen which says:

HP Deskjet 6940 series - status
Printer Maintenance Tip
Because the printer ejects ink onto the paper in a fine mist, ink smudges will eventually appear on the printer and adjacent surfaces. To remove smudges, stains, and/or dried ink, use a soft cloth moistened with water.

I don't understand why it keeps popping up. It's not like it's an emergency or anything urgent; it's just a tip. How do I disable this annoyance?
