Hi,
I am a guitarist and yesterday came across a site with free downloads of some excellent professionally made and recorded blues backing tracks. I can download these tracks to my PC and play them as well in the .aif format but I prefer to jam along to CD's which I play through my component stereo system.
Can anyone point me to an easy to use freeware application which can convert these .aif files to .mp3 which I can then burn to disc via WMP?. Again many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply 12ax48y. I found a freeware program called "Winlame" which did the trick for me. The site addy is below there are over 80 different backing tracks available for free download. It was down earlier for me, probably because of the amount of traffic from "The Gear Page Forums" members since it was posted there yesterday. Here is a link to the original post.
