Hi,

I have a Intel Pentium 4 dual E2160 1.80Ghz processor and 2.87 GB ram installed as shown in the system properties window. I would like to use two monitors on the same computer. However, when I install the ATI Radoen card on the AGP slot and restart the computer, it is not detecting the card, can anyone please advice?

What is the make and model of your computer or motherboard? What is the model and brand of the graphics card? What kind of power supply do you have and what is the wattage and the amperage rating on the +12V rail(s)?

By not detecting the card do you mean the system is still working, but the card isn't displaying an image? Is the fan on it spinning?

do you have the bios set up to disable the onboard and use the AGP slot?

Could you provide information about your motherboard?

Also, if you have a PCIe 16x card that you added to the motherboard, it could be disabling the onboard video that you may have been using (this is the way Intel chipsets react when you put in a real videocard). So if you are trying to use the onboard in combination with an added videocard you may need to move your primary monitor to the added card and won't be able to use the onboard anymore. If you still want dual monitor, you'd have to get a videocard that can do dual monitor (most cards out there).
