Every time I go to a new folder, the icons are displayed as thumbnails. How do I change the view to Details for every folder I make/explore?

FIXED:
I used a nice registry tweak I found here. This is what to do if you have this problem.

Step 1: Copy this

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\BagMRU]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\Bags]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags]

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU]
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell]
"BagMRU Size"=dword:00004e20

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags\AllFolders\Shell]
"FolderType"="NotSpecified"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=-

Step 2: Save it as a *.reg file

From the following link:

http://www.tomstricks.com/how-to-disable-t...vista-explorer/

Using the steps listed below:

* Click on the Start button, then on All Programs, follow by Accessories.
* Run Windows Explorer.
* In Windows Explorer window, click on Organize button on the menu/shortcut bar.
* In the pull down menu, click on Folder and Search Options.
* Folder Options dialog window will appear. Click on View tab.
* Under the Files and Folders tree heading, check (tick) the checkbox next to Always show icons, never thumbnails option.
* Click the OK button.

The Windows Vista Explorer will no longer generate and create any thumbnail when viewing a folder in any type of views.This should greatly increase the speed at which you can move between folders and may even speed up copying and other tasks in Windows Vista.

Not exactly what I'm looking for.

I want it to go from

to
Posted Image

But I want it so all other folders I make/explore stay in Detail view

That works, but you have to do that for every folder

EDIT: I got it to work with a registry tweak :D
