chkdsk

My other computer - a HP with Vista keeps running chkdsk on startup. It will run this and ask me to check disk for consistency. Occasionally it will allow me to insert my password, the welcom screen appears - but that is as far as i can get

I cannot access my laptop.

Any ideas guys??

Do you mean that it continuously runs a chkdsk loop and will not boot to VISTA?
Check for a stuck keyboard key.
