I manage a small network in our office and I am trying to look for a free networking monitoring software that I can see the activities in our office. I have this problem of slowing of the network connection late in the afternoon and I want to know what causes this.

Companies I know use Wireshark for this and other purposes. Ethereal project. Free and very good.

Hello!

I would advise to you that the reason for latency in the network is how much network usage is occurring. If it is a small network, you should consider better hardware which can manage connections much faster.

See this: http://www.netmon.org/tools.htm -- Worth checking out. Lots of good tools.
Also: Microsoft Network Monitor 3.2
