My friend has 4 laptops and a tower at his house. The tower is direct link to wireless router, the laptops use internal wireless cards. All are setup with WEP and key. One of the laptops will not even see the SIDD unless I'm like outside in the driveway. Once it see's it and tries to connect, I get a hardware dump error and have to reboot. If I bring the same laptop to another wireless point (my house) it works just fine. If I have the wireless enable little toggle switch on in the house, I get fatal hardware error. If I turn it off, it will boot just fine but without wireless. I turn the toggle switch on at my house and all is good. It sure seems like something with his router, but I believe all laptops are set up the same. Can you help?
Thanks
Len
