I bought a pair of Sony VGN-UX72 mini-computers from a friend. One is OK but he messed with the OS on the other and all I get is a bunch of vertical lines. I can't even find these computers listed on the Sony Style site. Any ideas of how I can restore the system?
Thanks much.

When they start as soon as you power them and you get the first screen hit f11

Did you use f1 or f11? You should only have to hit it once and it will take a few seconds but should load a recovery if it is a partitioned drive. Good luck

Sorry, I entered F11 not F1 just didn't type my answer right. Nothing happens.
