I have a Dell 940 A10 all-in-one printer/scanner/fax which has recently begun to have a "cartridge stall" error (#502). It will usually print one page okay, but if it is more than one page I get the error message. If I print one at a time (that is, tell it to print page 1, then page 2, etc., it will usually work.
I have tried taking out the cartridges & repositioning them and have reinstalled the printer. This printer is about 8 yrs. old but has not had a lot of hard use & always worked great up til now.
My computer is a Dell Dimension 2400, Windows XP Home.
