My sound just stopped working on Windows Vista, seemingly randomly. I tried reinstalling the drivers in Device Manager but it did nothing. I also tried downloading the drivers again (http://download.cnet.com/3001-2120_4-10788600.html?spi=6ec8f53f37c1a62c84ba5acdc384df96) and a sytem restore..

This same thing happened to my friend and he couldn't get it back. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1.
