getting a blue screen

Hey guys New member!! I have a problem with my laptop. I have vista home edition and i was using window washer,soon as i started a blue screen appeared and said physical memory error. It shutdown so i restarted it and now all i get is a black screen and it will not boot up any further. My question is how do i correct this so i can use my os again. Right now i am using backtrac 3 that is the only way i can get online.

Damn, the blue screen.
Well, obviously your computer crashed, due to a virus or something. Possibly contact a Technician, or you're going to have to buy a new laptop.

May one ask from where you obtained the Window Washer ?Also what is your installed antivirus program ?

How old is the lap top and is it still in warranty?

How many protection programs do you have? Maybe you have a major clash and need help to recover from it :huh:
