I'm not sure how much help I am going to find on this one, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. I have a Playstation Eyetoy, made for the PS3 which works as a camera and a microphone. I was wonderinging, since it is USB, if there is any way I can get it running with my laptop. I tried plugging it in and it looks like I have some sound dectection, but I can't get the camera to work. Does anyone kno of any helpful software for this one, or if it is at all possible?

-John

Try looking up the manufacturer. It is doubtful that it will work on your PC since it was built for the PS3. But you never know, the guitar hero Xbox controller works for the PC version, though they are both microsoft machines, it is worth a try.

Thank you for the help. I think you might be right. I tried but the best I could get is audio out of it, no video. I'm not sure what else to do.

Thanks

-John

try googling it. if its USB then in theory, if the right drivers are out there, it will work, the catch is the manufacturer, if they dont want it to be used on PC will not release the driver, but sometimes theres geeks out there that will write custom drivers for it, so try googling it. For example, the original xbox controller can be spliced with a USB cable, then you can find a custom driver online for it. Microsoft didnt release a driver because they dont support it. :D
