Have a user that can not open a PDF file that was scanned in as a PDF from am email function of a Xerox Work Center.
Tried turning off the compression ratios and the problem stayed the same.

"Can not open the file. Please check that you have permissions to the folder?

Worked forever and then one day poof stopped working. Other PDF files open fine.

Any Ideas???

Copy that specific file and attempt to open it on another computer, to see if the individual file is corrupt.

that user can not open it but sending it to myself I can. Reloaded adobe to no avail.

After note: Set user hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\11.0\outlook\security OLKxxx location to c:\temp.
Worked fine. Also loaded outlooktempCleaner.msi to clear out the location in the future.
