Old heatsink.

I took apart a very old custom computer, and wondered if it would work for my new computer that I just ordered and didn't even build yet?

I wouldn't eve3n try a heatsink out of a old compuuter.

According to the specs for the CPU you included the link to it comes with a heatsink & fan.
OCZ StealthXstream 700W,Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R , E8500, Arctic Freezer Pro 7, 3GB G.Skill PC8500,Gigabyte Radeon HD 4850 OC [1GB ], Seagate 250GB SATA II X2 in RAID 0, Samsung SATA DVD burner.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was better then the stock. From what I googled, that seemed to be a stock too. haha I guess this sucls.

I'm not bog on AMD CPU's but unless you plan on doing some heavy overclocking the heatsink/fan that comes with the CPU should be fine.
