Recovery Partition question

I have a hidden recovery partition ( Im assuming thats what it is) on my C: Drive, marked Primary EISA. Its about 5GB. Does this partition just hold all the system recovery files, like basically all the files on a system restore disk? How can I view inside this partition so I can access the i386 folder needed to create a XP install CD?

The reinstallation partition takes the place of actual disks with a new computer.
If you look in the Programs listed on the computer there should be a utility for making the reinstallation disks.
You could Google "How to make reinstallation disks for a [make/model] .

Yeah I know that. I want to make a XP install only without all the factory 7 year old software.

You aren't going to do that from a reinstallation partition.
