Hello, I used to have a very helpful feature in my old XP computer called What You Hear. It allowed me to record what I was hearing in my speakers/headphones. A year and a half ago, I purchased a dell XPS 410 computer that has Windows Vista 32-Bit installed. Now, I am unable to find What you Hear in the Sound section in the control panel. I clicked "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices", but still could not find What You Hear. Can anyone help me find this, or provide another method of recording exactly what I hear in my speakers/headphones? Thank you very much.
Here are my computer specs (if needed):
Processor: Intel® Core2 CPU 6420 @ 2.13GHz 2.13 GHz
2GB RAM
SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC
ATI Radeon X1300/1550 Series
Windows Vista 32-Bit

Are you referring to Sound Recorder?
Go to Start and then Accessories

I found this, an older thread http://www.driverheaven.net/audio-general-...u-hear-how.html It references needing to be in classic view.
