BleepingComputer.com: windows xp pro speech error

hi all:
My voicebuddy voice recognition program stoped working,it was working properly the last time I used it.Two days ago.
I started to check to see what was causing the problem,when I went to the control panel and clicked on the speech Icon I got something to this effect:the speech engine could not be created pick another program.(I'm at work and can't get to my computer but can supply more information tonight)Seems the program I need is corupt or is failing to start for some reason.
