Spyware/malicious software

I would like to know if the Apple OS is susceptible to spyware and malicious software programs like the PC's.

Any computer is open to malware. It's just that malware writers want to reach the largest user base so they target PCs.
There have been a few exploits on Macs

if you want a mac antivirus, i found norton was rated most popular in cnet. i dont know it its any good or not because i use windows. mac antivirus from symantec (nortons creators) http://download.cnet.com/Norton-AntiVirus-....html?tag=mncol
