I purchesed the Office 2007, part No. x13-51177-03,and followed the directions. Well, when the download completed, I was directed to call the 866-452-4755, and that man directed me to 800-936-5700...thats when Kaspersky bleeped, said that he detected a malicious web site, and then when the man "told me" he was on my computer, without my permission, #%$^@&*^%. and I was beyond %^&$#*(. So, now I have a bug, and seversl other problems, and I feel that should any other problems arise with ANY technical problems, Microsoft should pay for the repairs, yah thats what I said, NEVER HAPPEN right ? Well, you and they can be assured...I will do way beyond my very best to avoid calling them until the next ice age!!! :flowers: :trumpet:

Both numbers are legitimate:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX102871621033.aspx
http://www.activewin.com/bugs/phone.shtml
They scan your computer to make sure it is a legitimate copy and not pirated. That's just the way it is
You do it all the time when you connect to Windows Updates
They did not send you a bug

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
