I'm running vista home premium 32 bit, on a dell inspiron 1525 laptop and have encountered all kinds of application errors since downloading and installing Java version 6 update 12 .
Would a system restore correct the issue? If so How would I make it the date of 2/10/2009 when my computer was running at it's best according to the performance and reliability logs.
I've tried uninstalling update 12 and reinstalling without sucess, what do you suggest? It was running very well with update 11 but that is no longer available.
I thought I might be infected with something but just ran super anti-spyware scan and it removed a bunch of ad-ware tracking cookies. I've tried to do anti malware scan but when I go to check the logs something sends me to windows media gallery??, And I don't know why. I have used this software sucessfully before (6 months ago) but had to do a complete install with drivers , and have just now tried to download this software again. all my updates are current except for SP1, which created a bunch of headaches. So I asked Microsoft to help me remove it. they did. that was almost a year ago.
Please help
