I have been having quite a bit of trouble for a while now, and this is what I have complied so far (PLEASE give any help you can.):
NOTES:
Self-Built computer (had help from expert) (Specs at end)
1-5 Blue screen errors after every restart (VERY rarely 0 blue screens)
Computer Freezes (most often while playing video games (90%+ of the time)) and often screen flashes rapidly. Half the time, repeatedly pressing Alt+Tab and/or Ctrl+Alt+Del will unfreeze screen
Rarely restart computer, due to fear of 30mins of blue screens
Will ALWAYS get Blue screen after restart after freezing
VERY RARELY will no blue screens pop up if its just a no problem restart
Randomly loud (fan?) for a few minutes after start up (normally on welcome)
Programs on start up will begin to start, or wont start at all if blue screen is coming.
After welcome screen, as desktop loads, mouse pointer automatically moves slightly (unsure if this is related)
Keyboard will load at start up (G15 with small lcd screen)
Previously had problems due to using Japanese characters as main user account (multiple programs wouldnt work including Mozzila Firefox)

Good idea, but I seem to think it may be a different issue: worthy read, IMO
Only since this shows Disk.sys errors, it may be issues with a DVD/CD Drive or a disk drive not being connected properly, or not getting enough power. I recommend to check this as well!
By the way,

I suspect it's related to power but we can't pull the velociraptor, we could disconnect any extra components like extra hard drivces, optical drives, etc
A lamer video card would be another test
It's been my experience most of these microsoft leads have been wild goose chases and a waste of time.

You know Microsoft has their bad days...
I won't interrupt you two from solving this issue, just wanted to make a short comment that an 850W or better power supply is recommended for Quad-core processors. Not only that, you are powering 8 GB RAM and a 9800 V-Card

That's probably the issue here, but an expensive fix
