Taskbar unresponsive..... and chkdsk thing?

Ok today my computer was unresponsive and after a restart it said something about chkdsk then after that the computer taskbar stopped working everything else works.

You could try this.
Open Task Manager>new task and type in Explorer.exe

Possibly you need to run chkdsk on your boot drive.

I presume that you have Windows installed on C: drive.

Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and click on Task Manager.
When Task manager opens, select File -> New Task
In the Create New Task window, type cmd and press enter, it will open a command prompt window.

In the command prompt window, type the following:
chkdsk /F C:

When it asks to check the disk on restart, press Y

Now restart your computer.
