Heres why: Photoshop: Besides the fact that you can pretty much create everything design oriented here, the main purpose of photoshop is messing around with photos. Need that for designing, correcting and enhancing. |

I would say GIMP. It's free! While it's not as good as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, I've seen some amazing art done on it.
