I wonder how long that tool will last....given as to how malware writers will just change the code and whatnot.

BitDefender has created a dowanadup/conficker website to help spread the word faster to the people that aren't aware of with this worm is and does. The site contains basica information about Win32.Worm.Downadup, extended technical information and also removal instructions. - http://www.downadup.org

The tool that was mentioned above is still present on this site and there is also a new tool that has been developed for network admins. The tool contains the BitDefender Deployment tool and a deployable removal tool to be installed on all the possibly affected computers. The scan can be started after the tool has been deployed on all computers whether they are affected or not.

Hope this helps the people that are already in trouble. :thumbsup:
