After I ran malware bytes anti malware and super anti spyware and rebooted, I got an error saying somthing about svchost not being "readable"
Also whenever i try system restore it says that system restore is unable to protect your computer please restart and run system retstore again. I restarted and it still didnt work. When I did that in safe mode It just got stuck on next. no matter how many times i clicked it it wouldnt move. Is there any fix for this?

Try the Last Known Good Configuration.
When the computer is starting, repeatedly tap the F8 key, this should take you to the Windows Advanced Options Menu, once this opens click on Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked).

You might also try running chkdsk /r on the C: partition.
Running CHKDSK - http://www.1securitycenter.com/windows_xp_faq/chkdsk.html
Even though the link indicates that you only need to put a check mark in one box...put checks in both boxes, please.

Try reinstalling System Restore, this will mean losing your restore points, but if they are usable you have nothing to lose.
Go to Start> Run and type in %Windir%\INF and click on OK. Scroll down the page till you find SR.INF (this may be shown as SR), right click on it and then click on install. Reboot you computer and create a new restore point.

Hello Iamazn,
You have posted several topics that all appear to be connected to infections on your computer.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic211699.html is also here in the XP forum
and this one http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic211716.html is in the Am I Infected forum.
I see you also have a topic posted in the HiJack This forum here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic211470.html Because you did not write any of the contextual information, I shall edit the topic to include that information.
Multiple topics on essentially the same issue with partial information in each one causes confusion for everyone involved.
Because you have a topic in the HiJack This forum, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a HJT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.
From this point on the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.
Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.
To avoid confusion, I am closing this and the other topics not in the HiJack This forum. Good luck with your log.
