Should I uninstall Windows Media Center and if so, how?
The reason is that every time I close some programs I have, it opens itself, which is very annoying. And I don't want it anyway, it came with Vista.
Also, it doesn't appear in the Programs & Features list, so I don't know how to get rid of it, and even if I did, I'm not sure what that would do to Windows or any other packeged software.

Ah... it worked the first few times but is now continuing to open itself after I close this program... the program is Age of Conan, btw. Apparently loads of people are having this problem with it.
I did run through the instructions you gave again to make sure it was still disabled, and it was.
Help?
