Help
I cant log onto my computer because its virused really bad with a root kit and i want to wipe my hard drive and reinstall XP so i can start fresh please help.

There is no need to log in. You need to go into the BIOS and set the first boot device to the CD drive, exit and save changes. Then insert the XP cd and Restart the computer
To reach the BIOS in most computers, you reboot the computer, when the initial black and white screen shows, startt tapping the Delete key

Okay, so i booted it from the CD and it seemed to have worked fine as of now its installing Windows XP and it said it will take 34 more minutes until its done i'll keep you posted. Thanks for the help
