WordPerfect templates How to.............

I have WordPerfect 10 and have been using the template for creating Memos. I click on File--->New from project and select Memo from the WordPerfect 10. When I click the Create button, it launches the template and PerfectExpert opens on the left hand side. There is a choice for Choose a look.

I've installed the X3 version, but WP 10 has not been uninstalled. The Memo template in X3 does not open this Perfect Expert side panel, so and I do not get to choose a look. I need to phase out WP10 (company choice).

Will the templates from WP 10 work under X3? If so, how do I accomplish this feat? Thanks for any assistance.
