Error code 80200010 Unable to manually install updates

tried to install some optional updates from windows vista, but when i did error code 80200010 came up.

I then went to windows update web site installed the active x, but still no luck.

Can install updates by downloading them to hard drive.

I've checked on Microsoft Technet support for a fix for this problem, no luck there also.

Ive done a search on google and it appears to to be a very common vista software problem with no solution.

Has anybody on this forum got the same error code when updating ?
