"I am getting the Generic Host process for Win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close" error. When this happens it gives you a timer of about 60 seconds and closes down. I also lose internet connectivity when this happens.
I thought this was related to Malware so I posted in that section here in this site. After a lengthy process and fully updating Windows XP, numerous scans, the user 'Extremeboy' determined it was not related to Malware and asked me to post the issue here.
I will say one thing, it used to happen just about every day and it is less frequent now but still occurs.
I am running Windows XP Home edition, Service Pack 3.
My computer is a Toshiba Satellite, Dual Intel processor 2.00 GHz, 2 gb RAM.
I am new to this Forum so please let me know if you need any more information and what you need me to run/post.
Thank You!
